Cathy Stein is a professor in the School of Medicine at Case Western Reserve University (source). This is a transcript of her testimony to the Ohio House State and Local Government Committee in support of HB 90. She was representing Equal Protection for Posterity. This bill would establish oversight over government emergency orders. During Covid, the bill would have prevented the 'two weeks to flatten the curve,' from becoming the '9 months and counting.' Dr. Stein challenges the data and modeling used during Covid and asserts both were flawed. Mandates, business closures, curfews, she says, were ordered with no justification.
