The article describes a study of Bifidobacteria abundance in stool samples of 34 subjects prior to mRNA Covid-19 vaccination and one month following vaccination. The results of the study suggest the mRNA vaccines decreased the levels of Bifidobacteria by about half of their original value.  Low Bifidobacteria levels have been linked to inflammatory diseases, obesity, aging, Clostridium difficile infection and severe Sars-CoV-2 infection.
